LAHORE: On Saturday, a notorious robber named Kramat – also known as ‘Aidho’ – was killed, when he and his companions exchanged fire with
the police.
According to the registered first information reports (FIRs), all three robbers snatched a motorcycle from a man named Sadiq, on the canal in Chung police’s area and ran towards Wapda Town. An FIR w
as registered in Chung police station.
Upon seeing the che
ck post by Nawab Town police, near Qazlabaash chowk, the robbers threw away the snatched bike and started firing at
the police. During the warning shots fired by
the police in its defence, Kramat was kil
led. According to
the police, he was injured by his gang member’s gunshot.
The Notorious criminal died on the way to a hospital. An FIR w
as registered against all robbers. So far, the killed robber’s involvement has been confirmed in more than 20 dreadful robberies. The victim of the Sunder
case identified the dead robber, suspected to be involved in the Raiwind murder
case as well.
