LAHORE: Hundreds of posters hanging across the streets of provincial capital in favour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ahead of much-awaited Panamagate v
erdict have raised many eyebrows.

nched its ad-campaign just 24 hours before the announcement of final v
erdict of Supreme Court in Panama case today (Thursday) at 2pm.
Talking to Daily Times, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President Dr Nosheen Hamid and other party members, including Sabtain Khan and Nabila Hakim Ali, said that the PML-N had lau
nched the “fearf
ul ad campaign out of frustration”.
They said that such a campaign was not only illegal but was also a move to “pressurise” the Supreme Court. They claimed that the ad campaign had been lau
nched using the taxpayers’ money, and not a single penny had been paid to the Punjab Horticulture Authority (PHA). They said that a resolution had been filed in the Punjab Assembly against the ad campaign.

atif Khosa of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has said that the decision could be announced against Prime Minister under Article 62 (f) of the Constitution of Pakistan.
Several ot
her political parties, including Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), have planned their future strategies if the decision in the Panama case comes against the premier.
Meanwhile, dozens of banners inscribed with slogans in favour of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and PML-N were also seen hanging in the air in Gujranwala.
